Description:
This rectangular bulrush mat has a twined, brown cord warp and bulrush weft. Thirteen bands of geometric designs in dyed purple and natural tan rushes or dyed black and natural tan rushes span the width of the mat. Used as floor or sleeping platform covering in an Ojibwe lodge.
