- Description:
Rectangular hood rectangular is made from a single piece of deep red wool folded and machine sewn along the back seam and perimeter with black thread. The lining is deep reddish purple and white printed cotton. The bottom edge is bound with dark brown wool tape. The remainder of the hood's perimeter is decorated with spot-stitched glass beadwork and hand stitched light brown wool tape, .6 cm wide. The beadwork features pairs of interwoven lines of light greenish blue and strong blue seed beads. Made circa 1875-1925.
