How to use the Ojibwe People's Dictionary

There is no simple independent word for knee. A personal prefix goes with the dependent noun stem /=gidigw-/ knee to make a full word:
  • nigidig, ningidig, ingidig my knee (1s-3s)
  • gigidig your knee (2s-3s)
  • ogidigwan h/ knee
    • [MN] ogidigwan h/ knee/knees (3s-3')
