How to use the Ojibwe People's Dictionary

There is no simple independent words for face. A personal prefix goes with the dependent noun stem /=dengwaan-/ face to make a full word:
  • nindengwaan, nidengwaan, indengwaan my face (1s-0s)
  • gidengwaan your face (2s-0s)
