How to use the Ojibwe People's Dictionary

Note:
There is no simple independent word for tongue. A personal prefix goes with the dependent noun stem /=denaniw-/ tongue to make a full word:
  • nidenaniw, nindenaniw, indenaniw my tongue (1s-0s)
  • gidenaniw your tongue (2s-0s)
  • odenaniw h/ tongue (3s-0s)
