How to use the Ojibwe People's Dictionary

Note:
There is no simple independent word for father. A personal prefix goes with the dependent noun stem /=dedey-/ father to make a full word:
  • nindede, indede, ndede my father (1s-3s)
  • gidede your father (2s-3s)
  • odedeyan h/ father
    • [MN] odedeyan h/ father/fathers (3s-3')
    • [BL] odedeyan h/ father (3s-3's)
    • [BL] odedeya’ h/ fathers (3s-3'p)
